Bluetick hound, no tan, notched ears, broken tail.  Took off tonight (12/7).  We have been out riding around looking for him, and our Walker has gone out looking for him too, but haven't been able to find him.  He is wearing an orange color, he is tagged with our information and he is microchipped. REWARD FOR HIS RETURN.  His name is Parker, but he may or may not come when called (selective hearing)  He has a shaved patch on his back for his heartworm treatment.  Coosa 20 corridor around the lake.

My husband and I drove for hours around the lake looking for him and he just showed back up and wondered what all the panic was about.

I am so glad he turned up. They usually do thank God. Like you said,  just out for an evening stroll to him. Some folks believe it is counter-productive to go after them right right away because they may be just out of sight but when they hear you they feel at home and keep wandering away. A GPS tracker seems like smart money these days.

I know, and we're still keeping an eye out for Ryder.  I know a lot of people are looking for her.  I still see the signs, including one in front of the LM Shelter.
