I need to replace a couple of supports for my dock and would like to know if anyone knows of a source for used wooden power poles.
Thanks in advcance for your help and I hope everyone had a good holiday.

Years ago I was able to get some from the power company for free. Lots of poles are being replaced right now on east side of lake by APCO contractor. Might be worth your time to stop by APCO office or job site and check with them.

I bet they don't want you to put them in the lake.

For the good old creosote ones, you are right, but they're replacing treated ones now. I got creosote poles in 1976 to build my dock and they're still good.
