The Russian collusion investigation has been over for a while as they realized that no such thing happened. This is now about providing sufficient political cover to Democrats to impeach Trump should they get control of the House in November, which in my view is all but assured. I leave it up to you to decide if the government should be allowed to obviate attorney-client privilege but I find it an appalling development.
|
I have to say that I no longer trust the FBI. They have been politicized. And I just watched Loretta Lynch lie to Lester Holt about everything to do with the Clintons and the FBI.
I think the Democrats are desperately grasping at anything that they think will make a case for impeaching Trump. We know it won't happen, but they don't mind wasting tax payer dollars to chase a rabbit down a hole.

Mueller and the Democrats had nothing to do with the raid. It was approved by Asst Attorney General Rosenstein and the US District attorney for S. New York both who were appointed by Trump based on probable cause. Most likely, it is tied to the $130,000 paid to Stormy and what did Cohen tell the bank the funds were going to be used for. If he told them for home repairs and then paid off Stormy, he could be in big trouble for bank fraud and then a campaign violation. Trump better sharpen his pardon pencil.

The raid was based on a referral from Mueller and his never ending witch hunt. If I were Trump I would pardon every single person caught up in this nonsense. You better hope your lawyer isn't next.

Goofy, I know you suffer from ADHD but try to keep on task. No one cares about a dumb poll. What we care about is the death of attorney-client privilege and an out of control FBI. And now we learn that Mueller is investigating Trump getting paid $150K for a speech in the Ukraine. If only DOJ/FBI had an interest in the millions paid to the Clinton Crime Family Foundation and the quid pro quo yes vote on Uranium One. They are partisans and they need to drain that swamp soon or we will lose the rule of law.

"No one cares about a dumb poll" Martini ONLY cares about polls when they suit his deplorable cause...Typical but not surprising. Stomy is on the move. Maybe, your hero will keep it in his pants. Cohen is going down along with Flynn, Manafort, the greek, Gates, etc. Great set of morals from a party of hypocrits.
Examples of a hypocrit......
Maritini
1." It's no wonder that according to a recent CNN poll only 35% of the respondents want the GOP to abandon repeal and replace. Or to make it clear to those with a liberal education, almost 2/3rds want repeal and replace to continue."
Martini
2." According to the polls around the time Dems forced this through that fully 85% of Americans were satisfied with their health insurance. Look it up instead of making it up."

Fish,
Rule #1 in reading polls and scientific articles: Disregard unless the percentages add up to 100. Elementary school stuff.

Goofy, let me help you out here. Now your response would have made sense if I had responded that all polls are dumb or I don't care about polls or something similar. But I was specifically addressing the relevance of that dumb poll to the topic at hand....hence my use of the term "non sequiter". Despite the fact that you don't know how to spell hypocrite (once is a typo...twice and you have been failed by your govt school), I assume you know what the term non sequiter means.
Maybe I'm giving you too much credit and you actually thought re-posting a dumb poll that no ones believes or cares about (which by the way is why we ignored it in the first place) was remotely relevant. Which of course it wasn't. I appreciate all your hard work searching vigorously for my reference to polls but alas, it was all for naught as you missed my point entirely. Did your Ritalen prescription run out?

I also prefer my polling done to indicate national trends to include more then 803 people.

Yeah, I recall that we went through this way back when in the primaries with Fish and Archie when they were throwing all their polling data around showing Hillary in a landslide. Tried to teach them, but to no avail. Urban vs Suburban vs Rural, M vs F, Ages, citizens or not, Highest grade attended, all make a difference in reading a poll. None of that revealed, therefore bunk.

By far the biggest factor in these polls is the weighting. Many of them overweight Democrats and so-called Independents. Skews the results every time to get the outcome you want. As for me I have zero interest in analyzing this particular poll because I think it's a dumb question.

Took a class in college - the professor said the unoffical title was "lying through statistics"
final project was to take a poll and change the poll 180 by over/under sampling, demographics, sample size.

Or you could treat the poll like NOAA does with climate data. Just increase the numbers, hide the ones you don't like and decry the anti-science skeptics as luddites and flat earthers that should be put in prison. Takes less imagination and time.

That would have been easier - but he would not let us change the data or remove anything other then by eliminating demographics, race, sex, gender, political orientation, location.
Mostly it was just filtering the data down to get the results you needed to do the 180 from the published polling data.
Yeah, doing the NOAA on it would have been way too easy.
