30 yr mortgage rates in January were 2.75%--today 6.25%--wonder what jimmy kimmel recommends ?? can you hear the brakes being applied on home buying//building ??

Plus the cost of building materials - when the builders can get them and the tanking of the stock market...it ain't pretty.  Glad we downsized when we did.

It's just a matter of time.  I was just reading that the housing bubble is going to burst a la 2008.  People that have cash will make it a buyers market.

We had a job change move in 1982, and we had to build a new home.  Dimokrap Jimmie Carter, Pres. Had just been thrown out.  Mortgage rate was 15%!!  House was built in 10 weeks, because no other construction was happening….call a sub….he showed up in a couple of hours.  By the   time home loan closed the rate had dropped all the way down to 12%!!  Jimmy Carter is ten times as smart as IDIOT Biden, and our economy is much worse than in 1982.  Just wait…..

Bought our first house in 1981.  They wouldn't lock in the interest rate until the day we closed.  15 1/2%.  The next day it was at 16 1/2.
