I know I'm beating a dead horse because I posted the "Alltel" coverage question last week but their coverage in Auburn is terrible. My father swears by his Verizon service. I've checked with every cellular service available and you can guess what the first question asked is. "Where are you located on the lake?" Deep inside I want to tell them "here's your sign." I want service that'll cover the entire lake 'cause I don't go to the lake to stay at the house and suck up airconditioning!

Found AT&T svc. to have improved dramatically over past couple years. Have a signal from everywhere on the lake.

I changed to Verizon in October and get good coverage everywhere I've been so far, which has been limited to the southern part of the lake.....Trillium area to the dam.

I've had Verizon for about 6 years and have had fair to great coverage pretty much everywhere on the lake. It has gotten even better lately. I know for a fact the coverage is near perfect at Blue Creek, Still Waters, Trillium, Pleasure Point and under the 280 bridge. That pretty much covers it for me - if I break down out of range of one of those areas, I'll drift there pretty soon!
