At Anchor Bay's service dock, there is a plant living in the water with several blooms on it that resemble snow balls. It's almost a perfect ball of white. This is living in the water at this time, anyone know what it is?

thanks.

looks like something from anotther planet...ball is about 2" in diameter, almost perfect circle. Odd plant. Leaves are not very attractive, but the bloom is just plain strange.

Hey, why not take a cutting to the county extension agent and play stump the agent.. If it thrives in water it would be neat to have around the lake.
