Pink worms are almost always good bait. My neighbor is really catching them on redworms right now. Crickets are good for bream using a small hook, small weight, 4# line and a small round bobber. Crickets are also good on trot lines and floats.

If you want to catch some crappie get one of those " green " fishing lights, anchor in about 40'-60' of water, drop the light as far as it will go, then fish the outer edge of the light with small minnows or crickets.

they are called 'glowsticks' available at concerts and sporting goods departments

really fun to break open, pain on your face and look through your neighbors window with at night. (caution, could be harmful, in many ways)

It is a Brinkman Q Beam green underwater fishing light. It costs from $12-$22. Pro Bass has them and Cabelas too. Some bait stores that carry a lot of fishing supplies will have them or they will order you one.

Hey, some of the Korean's I met in Korea would put that stuff on there dog at night so that they could quickly retrieve the dog if it started drowing in a rice paddy. Learn something new every day.....
