I don't know where you gooberheads come from or how long you've been here but certain parts of the lake become stained/muddy every year. I've been here since I was 16yrs. old and it's the same every year. Home construction has nothing to do with it or its impact is very miniscule. When the water goes to winter pool level the creek banks and the surrounding exposed shoreline dries, cracks, erodes, etc. Then when the spring rains come you get stained/muddy water as a result of the rising water flow. Well that explains the most obvious so I'll leave the rest of to you " brainstems ". Peace. The fish are bitting very well.

AKA Lakeman; Last week it was worse than it's been in a long time up on the northeast side.....looking fom the air makes a big difference in comparing water color.

That being said, it will clear, and yes it does do this to some extent every year. We realize however, you are just trying to show your supreme knowledge Lake Martin history. You have my nomination for "King Gooberhead"......any seconds?
