Well I thought the forum would be full of the Poker Run results. I hope everyone got through it safely. The weather was not exactly ideal but the overcast was nice. The bass are biting real good. Peace.

The Poker Run was great fun. I'm not sure who won I know we did'nt. Wish they would do another one soon. This was our first poker run and we had a great time.We need a bigger boat our 24' BAJA beat us up. The weather was perfect we got a little wet riding home from Sinclairs but other than that it was real nice. As far as I know it was a safe event.

We were in a 24' Baja as well, there were several times we had to pull out of the throttle to level out. I spoke with several folks in the 27' Fountains and they were no better off. I ran with one for a little while and they were doing as much throttle pumping as I was. I'm not sure what it may take to smooth out the ride at the speeds we are trying to run. 30 footer maybe???

You know, now that i think about it, the pace boat ran right at 90. And, he had a/c and generator..... that's nice! Then, there was the driver of the 312 formula, and I think the owner of the boat gave him docking lessons because by the time we made the second stop, he was backing in the slips like a pro. The poker run seemed well organized, and all workers were very helpful and very polite, they seemed to like the traffic and all the boaters. Even the post poker run party was great. I look foreward to next time. "BLING IT ON"

Does everyone in the poker run have the fast boats? Or are there average boaters in Pontoons and seadoos and stuff like that?
