Or perhaps contented beavers. We are on a point of land toward Blue Creek, not near any streams or creeks, yet we have lost several large trees to what appears to be beavers judging by the damage. Has anyone else had this happen?
Anyone know what to do about it?

Might want to contact the appropriated County or State agency. I do not know whether Alabama will do so, but some states will humainly trap beavers and relocate to a more remote location.

...... and should be shot on site. Nobody will trap them just to release onto somebody else. Been ther done that, about to have to do it again. We have one of the pesky critters showing up around here again.
