I would say if the Lake continues to drop at its current rate (last ten day or so), then you will not be able to. It has been dropping about a tenth of a foot every day. You have 19 days until July 4th. It would easily put it under 482.

Your guess is as good if not better than mine. But if I were a betting man ---

Rain's real around Alex City, but about 13 droplets and some distant thunder on Sandy. Alex's gotten 2 1/2 inches according to NOAA. Maybe it'll come this way.

yep, it rained in Auburn, checked the rain gage and only 0.20 was in it. kicked around the dirt on the ground and nothing but dust came up. the afternoon showers are great for cooling off but we got to get a good soaking soon!

Well over here in cooper branch we were blessed with about 2" of rain. All the boats that were anchored out in the lake were pulled down by the sudden rise of the lake. Several bass and ducks were under my bradford pear as to avoid getting caught in the deluge. Several cords of lumber floated off. Some discovered they had built their pier too low and one on company street discovered he had built his boat house too low. His toon was crammed up under the roof. More to come. Film at 11:00.

very good rain here in alex city....boat cover filled up and fell into the boat.
