Looks like alot of rain, stretching from Tenn to Birmingham AL, reds, yellows and greens. Could leave behind 2 - 3 inches in some areas north of Lake Martin. What is the ratio of inches per rain to feet of pool?

Don't know but let us pray that we get two inches all the way between the lake and Atlanta as we should see a difference then. Something-anything-come on!!!!!!!!!!!

Hardest rain I have seen all year is coming down in Auburn, and from the looks of the radar I would imagine that the lake is getting the same thing. May be just a drop in a bucket but hey I'll take it.

Anything short of a tropical storm or hurricane I don't think it will help much for this summer.

The rain is indeed welcome news. I have been following the movement of this system off and on all day and unfortunately the majority of the rain is swirling around to the south of Lake Martin and even worse, the watershed for the Tallapoosa. This is where we need sustained rainfall the most and it just seems like we are cursed in that regard.

Water level still dropping!!! The rain must have missed the lake and watershed.

This is just awful. There appears to be no end in sight. At this rate we should be down another two feet by 7/15.
