So somehow the rumor around the lake this morning is that APCO is dropping the lake as much as 3 feet this weekend. Website still says 211.5 by the 12th which is barely 1/2 foot from current. I can just here the old guys sitting around having coffe; "My cousin's, son's, neighbor's, nephew that works in the control center in downtown B'ham said" blah, blah, blah.

If it dropped that much in one weekend there will be many a dry boat in the mud by monday morning.

I watch this part of their website pretty often and the only thing that has changed is the date that they expected the water lever to drop to 461.5. First it said June 15th then the 26th, then the 8th and now the 12th. Each time there has been a enough rain to raise the level a 1/2 ft or so and so they extend their date a little.

Rumors, I hate them............. Makes me worry that my summer is over.
