Yea last Saturday Lay was reported at -99 and I think Weis was Sunday.

Maybe just a power outage.

Or it rained ALOT upriver.

I wonder what they're going to do with us down here on Lay...Is there a website that shows what they plan to do...If we don't get more release from Altoona then eventually they'll have to pull from the Lower Coosa...I'm not complaining, I'm lucky to live here 365 days a year...

Worm, we all could be in much worse situations. And forums like this give us a chance to vent about what gripes us on any particular day.

If we all had water I bet we would still find something to gripe about, I know I would. Typically I love my life, my family and everything about my life in general. My tag on my Tahoe even says "Life Is Good" (LFSGOOD).

I bet there is not one person that frequents this board or lurks on the board that would or is in the process of selling their place or leaving Logan Martin or Lake Martin for good.

This is all just Mother Nature at work and I am sure somewhere up river that GW Bush had something to do with our lake levels and Hilary is just the one that will fix it (hahahacoughcough) Sorry about that.

Back to your question about Lays water level, everything that I hear or read has no mention of Lay because of the "run of the river" thing.

We still plan on making it yourway again one day. A few friends have said they might want to make the trip with us on the Seadoos. If the kids come we will put in somewhere past Childersburg and board down to where you are.

Please dont take our griping and moaning that we are unhappy. It is just not perfect and that is the problem.

I don't know what they will do with Lay Lake... no offense, but it seems to stay full no matter what happens. I'll be using my fishing boat there on & off this fall. APCO blames the Corps, and the Corps blames APCO... the bottom line is that we need a LOT of rain to get anywhere at all. We will continue to pay the price until that happens. Be safe out there everbody.

John
