Crossed the river below the dam on Friday and it was the lowest I have seen it. No visible current. If someone crossed this week please give us your report.

I crossed the River just south of Wetumpka, Hwy231. (As I do everyday) The river appears to be higher and flowing more the past two weeks than it was in the middle of the summer. I'll bet they shut it off soon. I had not been to the lake sinse July until this weekend. WOW. It is kinda depressing. What about all the brush and weeds? I guess they will just die away when the water comes back up. But, if another summer goes by and it don't come back up..... It will really be a lot of undergrowth.

Alex City boat ramp is totaly out of the water. Lots of trash too.

The water is exposing old trash. Like the foam covered coke bottles and cans that the pop top wasn't made onto the top.

Kind of like a time line...A dpressing time line

Crossed Barron Bridge on Sunday. Blue Creek has completely stopped flowing. This is the second time this summer I have seen this.

For those traveling east under the bridge on blue creek, water is good to about the first divide some 3/4 mile east of the bridge. Two feet or less further east. Lake bottom from about 1/10 mile on east all the way to Barron Bridge.

Unbelievable and very sad. Praying for rain. What else can we do???

i have been pulling the weeds that peak over my seawall but when they die back i am going to weedeat the lot. Last winter I put in pea gravel for a large swimming area that is 2-5' deep at full pool. Hardly even got wet.

If we could just have a few inches of the Texas rains - looks like the system will completely miss us - what else is new???

I saw a rock in the middle of Little Kowaliga creek up past the water intake that I have only seen once before. It is only marked with a boat fender, so watch out. It is at the entrance to the first creek on the left past the intake coming off of a long point on the left. I didn't go much further, but I suspect that there will be a large mud flat up there that even my jonboat can't handle.

I crossed below the dam this AM, and it didn't look like much was flowing.

To be honest, I have a hard time judging the level just by eyeballing it as I drive by.
