Ok so i wentt to the lakehouse to check on stuff and there is a letter hanging from my door know.

Its from shoreline management telling me that I have to call them because my seawall and pier is not permitted. I call and tell them that i bought the house 2 August ago and everything was already there when I bought it.

I am meeting one of them out there Wednesday to discuss my pier and seawall. He said they have to be permitted if it is on the lake.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Theres a cure for your boredom.

I hope it all goes well. I haven't heard of such. I was asked where my permit was once while I was working on my pier. I pointed up to the house which is way up the hill, 108 stairs up to be exact, and told him he could go get it if he wanted. He just laughed and said he just wanted to be sure I had one. I didn't get the guys name but he seemed nice enough. Was riding by in a pontoon boat.

I will update Wed nite and if anyone wants to come by and ask the guy questions without giving up where you live you are welcome.

And by the way our Logan Martin Nights alter ego Writer is on the cover of the Logan Martin Magazine dressed as Santa.

That is a pretty good magazine and its free at Lakeside laanding if your ever by there.

I will update Wed and if anyone wants to come by call me 205-566-7296, i promise not to make anyone help me rake leaves.
