So who did something new this weekend or had a first since they have been at the lake?

Me, this was my first Memorial Day at full pool? Last year was my first MD and we were about 2ft+ below where we are now.

Other than that I ended up in the lake with not one but two Blackerrys in the pocket,,,,,,,long funny story but a huge party foul on my part......

One good first one BAD first........

First time I had ever been on a seadoo. It was great. You know us bass fishermen, we dont care for them to much. Left the bass boat at hme. So there is my good and bad.

My first full pool holiday too.

2 Crackberries? I gotta hear this. I did notice you responded to my texts pretty quick.

Peace,

Did enjoy full pool, seeing water all the way to the bottom edge of the dock for a change.

First holiday at full pool, it was great. As for your Black Berries put them on the dash of your vehicle for an hour or two, they'll be good as new.

My first,,

I dropped the bassboat in the water shortly before daylight Saturday morning and fished back to our pier

Sunday morning, began fishing just before daylight with top water lures,, got 5 and went back to the coffee pot.

Monday morning, same as Saturday but only got two on top water, then two on a crank bait,, back to the coffee pot.

My first was having the bassboat in the water for three days and only starting the main motor to drive the boat on the trailer Monday afternoon.

Love that Top water bite!!

Well a big plus for my weekend was getting gas at Paradise Point for $3.99 a gallon. The owner said that after this tank is gone he'd be up to probably $ 4.30/gallon. On Memorial Day I had about 40 folks over and we had a blast, the first for me was injuring someone while EXTREME tubin'. My wife dislocated her shoulder after a spill off of the tube (she should've held on tighter). She's OK now, just a little stiff. As far as the traffic goes on Lay the end up near LM dam is always clear no matter what the holiday. Now the end near Lay dam is a nightmare. Lay isn't a very wide lake and when you get resident idiots, first time boaters and renegade jet skiers all in one area it will turn your hair gray in a hurry. Glad to hear everyone on LM had a good Memorial Day.
