We were up for Friday and Saturday and couldn't get over how quiet it was on our end of the lake. Hardly any boats out at all. Last weekend was a different story. How was your area of the lake? We are in Willow Point/Tate's Cove area.

Of course, we are from your area, but it was wonderful. I have a feeling the gas prices kicked in this weekend.

I agree. It was nice, but you can tell gas prices are making people limit casual boating. Last year there was no water, this year we have water but it costs $250 to fill the boat tank for a weekend.

We went around to Parker Creek for gas on Saturday and it was dead. It was nice though. Gas is cheaper at Parker Creek than Veazey's by about 65 cents per gallon. It was very nice out there though.

that is my luck. I was told that Parker Creek was higher. cost me about 18 bucks not to check for myself.
