The Jolly Roger is located on the biggest island between the mouths of Madwind and Manoy Creeks. It is behind the two islands with the American flags. I don't think it stays up all the time though. It seems to come and go. I was glad to see that my friends pic of 'Flag Island" was finally posted also, although he tagged it flag pole island. There is no pole, just that one sad little tree. Many have tried to get him to plant a pole, but his response is always the same, 'he is gonna dance with the one what brung him'.....lol.
This makes the 7th year in a row that he has honored veterans, his father, and the lake by hanging a flag there. I know he takes great pride in seeing others drifting there and taking pics. I have even seen 'his island' on TV commercials in Atlanta.

Guys and gals... check out the Lake Martin thread I set up on thehulltruth.com for us to share quick photos and info. Its under the Gulf Coast section. I also sent a link about our great site, lakemartin.com, as this site will always be home to us lakers. Thehulltruth.com is another good site to share boating issues, fishing techniques and quick photos of Lake Martin. No affiliation just a good link.

I got a pic on my phone tonight from a friend that went by the "Jolly Roger" this evening on a sunset cocktail cruise. Not only is the flag flying and the sign there, but so is a 'skeleton' with his arm draped around a 'treasure chest'. I will post a pic when I can get it from my phone to the computer.
