What must one do to get a no wake buoy placed?
A new development (White Oak) is being built at the end of our small slough, with at least 30 new homes planned, more than doubling the boat traffic.

You might want to call the Marine Police, they could probably give you good answer to that.

This should generate a lot of responses........ As I understand it, only the Marine Police can put up an "official" No Wake marker. Several were put up by individuals and when the MP see them I understand they will remove them. Not sure what the criteria is for placing one, but they seem to be few and far between so I suspect it is fairly limited.

My suggestion is that once the homes start to sell that you create a flyer to put at each of the houses suggesting courteous boat operation. My guess is that will solve most of the problems.

Well that's interesting. Russell decides where no wake markers go and not the MP's or APCO? I have seen other posts where people have claimed the MP's removed home made markers but maybe it was Russell. Hmmmm.....
