Some time back there was a brief discussion about medical facilities in Alex City. Does anyone have recommendations for general family doctors and dentists in the Alex City area?

I have an appointment with Dr. Corbin at Russell Medical Center next week. I've never been to him before but I have some friends that have and they think a lot of him. So I thought I would give him a try.

Dr Corbin is the best. He will spend as much time as you need and he talks down to earth - none of these big medical terms. However, his office is at the Professional Building at 1120 Airport Rd.

As for dentists, Drs. Brooks and Sally Lamberth are excellent. They are a husband/wife team who are also a divided family - Auburn/Alabama!

I went to Brooks Lamberth to establish a relationship with a dentist when I first moved to Alex City. Before that I had gone to a dentist three months previously and checked out OK.

Brooks looked into my mouth and said that I had a large cavity and could loose my tooth within a week and needed to come back for treatment. I asked for his mirrors so I could see the cavity and he admitted that he could not see it and left the room.

Needless-to-say I went to another dentist who found a small cavity starting in another part of my mouth and everything else looked OK. He said to come back when convenient as there was no concern at the time.
