Due to some things which have kept me very busy this year Ive not been able to go to our place as much as I would have liked to ,but for me personally the finest time to go is now and the next several weeks.
Weather hopefully cooling off soon will do the fishing good . Looking forward to it.

It sho is nice up here right now, thats for sure, the last few evenings have been great, and today has been just perfect, water is still warm, all is good on the lake.
Went by fr8ts house the other day but seemed he'd packed up, been by injunjons but don't know where to look, only what part of the lake. So we are probably passing you all the time, and just don't know it.

I am SO glad summer is over. So yeah, tell everybody to go ahead and winterize and pack it in untl next year. The water is too cold, the weather gloomy. Yep, tell everybody the lake is a terrible place to be in the winter. Especially in a boat.
(now where did I put my wetsuit?)

David, we are the poor people of the lake - we can't afford land and a house, so we own a trailor on a leased waterfront lot at River's Edge Marina. But, at least I can honestly tell people that we are in a "Gated Community" on the lake and that we have a gardner/landscaper, and a tractor man. We are on the water in the slough, just before you get to the big houseboats and cruisers. Call me on my cell & we'll meet up next time you're on the water (205.369.8957). I'll be there this weekend.
