Auction house went for $300k

Went by the house auction in B'ham tonight. The house on Sturdivant Rd. started out at $159k and sold for $285k about 20 seconds later. Add the 5% auction fee and that brings the total to about $300k. Never though it would have went for that much.

Well, I guess that is good. They lost $115,000 plus the cost of the auction. I would say that price is in line though. If we are going by waterfront and it has that much, then it is worth it.
