I just love those who find it totally acceptable to take others money to help those in need. Especially when they practice what they preach by sacrificially giving their hard earned fortunes to set a good example.
Over the last 10 years, Joe Biden's total income was $2,450,042 and his total Charitable contributions during that 10 year period were $3,690. That's a whopping .0015%. That's right, less than 1%. His highest total for any 1 year was $995. Anyone want to guess what year that was? Imagine that, it was 2007 when he might have had politically motivated aspirations.
Our man Obama was much more generous delivering on his platform to redistribute wealth. Following are the last 6 years of O's tremendous sacrificial giving:
2006: 6.1%
2005: 4.7%
2004: 1.2%
2003: 1.4%
2002: 0.4%
2001: 0.5%
2000: 0.9%
Notice the step up in 05 and 06. Might his political aspirations motivated this obvious tremendous sacrificial financial comittment?
Yeah, 2 fine examples of proponents of wealth distribution, as long as it's not their own. Pitiful.
Oh, just in case you would like to know what those cheap, rich, elite Republican candidates gave:
In 2006, the Palins paid $4880 on a total gross income of 127,869, just under 4%. Not so great either however, at a much lower income, that 1 year surpassed Biden's 10 year total.
How about McCain. In 2007, his gross income was $405,409 and his charitable contributions were $105,467 or 26%. I know, I know GF, the majority of that went to Christain schools his kids attended. The fact remains, he voluntarily separated himself from 26% of his income.
It absolutely astounds me that these bleeding hearts can espouse this "We Care" rhetoric with that kind of charitable giving record. I'll give them 1 thing, they certainly have nads.

fork tounge. I have never seen a liberal practice what he preaches. The same goes for Al Gore and his preaching about global warming. It was not that long ago that they were saying the sun was cooling and we may be headed for another ice age. But even if we have the potential for global warming, what is Al actually doing about it personally other than preaching? He flys around on a private jet, has a masion that consumes 4 times the amount of energy than the average home. All Al seems to be doing is "profiting" off the hype he is creating.

In 2007 the total contribution for John and his wife Cindy was $210,000. Their combined income was $4,5000,000 or about 4.7%. Arizona is a communal state and they file seperately. The contributions are split 50/50. To be honest, you need to add both incomes and double the contribution. Suggesting that John gave half is unknown.
As to Big Al and my boy Joey, they give time and, unfortunately, the cloths they donated to Goodwill just weren't worth much.

your spin and twisting of facts just puts us to sleep.
Not sure if you have seen ... but as the polls indicate thi being a close race and McCain has a solid chance for victory, the stock market is reacting positively.
Latest poll in PA shows it dead even. McCain is now up in Florida. It could be the reporter that dared ask Biden a question that was tough. Or I guess it could be the jewish vote in Forida did not like BO paling around at a party with someone from the POL bashing Isreal. But BO's good friend William Ayers invited him, so how could he say no. But he did not hear anything bad said, just like he did not when he sat in the pews at Rev Wrights church.
The folks in PA are just clinging to their guns and religion as BO said. Plus the are all racist and red necks like the democratic senator said.

Your 1/2 right, which is better than usual. They absolutely do file seperately however, the figures I listed were John McCain's, not Cindy's. Either way, it doesn't excuse the paltry sums of money your "I care, we all should care" wealth redistribution mongers contributed. How can someone with this kind of platform be so cheap yet, still garner respect from the uneducated masses. Never mind, I just answered my own question. Sela.

Not to mention the brother living on a dollar a day, the aunt living in the slums of Boston and so on. The fact is liberals are notoriously stingy as evidenced by numerous studies on charitable giving.
A great example from personal experience. I was in DC earlier this year staying at the Washington Hilton which was hosting a People for the American Way meeting (liberal group). I was third in line to get a taxi and in front of me were two "progressive" radio talk show hosts. The first one got into the taxi and gave no tip to the black bellman that hailed the cab, loaded the bags and opened the door. The second one actually gave the poor guy change from her pocket. He just stood there and looked at it. When I got up there I gave him a $20 tip and said I was also paying for the two maggot-infested liberals that were ahead of me. He just burst out laughing and told me to have a great day.
They were both white by the way and I am sure spend half the time on their shows spewing how Republicans don't care for the working guy and are greedy. Fortunately, only about 8 people actually listen to liberal radio. If they want liberal garbage they can tune into cBS, aBS, nBS, msnBS, etc.
