Look Back at 2008
- Historically low water Levels
- Gas prices on Lake around $5.00 per gallon
- Boat Ban Enforcement Begins (Sorry Cat and others but this was part of 2008 History)
- Goats are returned to Goat Island
- A Tropical storm that raised the lake level by 5 feet almost overnight
- More memories of friends and family lake events that will last a lifetime (Some of mine my Fathers 80th Birthday Party with 36 of his closets relative and their families and my daughter learning to slalom ski)
- Meeting new lake friends and neighbors
- The passing of our dear loved ones, may god rest their souls.
- Tragic boating accident on the lake
- Property values decline
- Russell Lands begins construction of Crossroads

A Look Forward at 2009
- More cherished lifetime lake memories
- Meeting more lake friends and neighbors

Maybe,,,, Just MAYBE I can bring my new Skater to the Lake one time, buy everyone lunch at Chucks and then enjoy a day on Lake Martin. But then again, there are economic issues at stake. "Bling it on".

Looking forward in 2009.

Hopefully "L T L " will return to this lame duck forum and bring back the excitement. Although the fishing forumj has picked up, thanks to Stripernut.

Cat, let me know when this lunch takes place - I will buy your lunch and your fuel for the day. I owe you, and appreciate your efforts towards the 3 lakes law. I most likely will have already moved to Lake Cumberland but will return for this event. It's a shame people will not pull together to fight such an outlandish ruling. A boat load of people owe you that's for sure.

Merry Christmas!
