but, the explosive growth in Atlanta for the last 40 years could have better controlled and planned. At least the water/sewer infrastructure.
Didn't Georgia at one point in the Water War plan to pump water from the Tallapoosa River in Georgia?? Wonder if that is an option for Atlanta water now??

In my opinion, the people with the most to gain from the decision are the people on Lake Lanier. I'm glad to hear this news.

Yes they wanted to do inter watershed movement of water. Feds have said no to that plan.
We all know something has to be done. The more I study water usage, seems like we're all gonna need more recycling of water. Can't just keep using it once and throw it downstream into the ocean.
