Whether it is speeding, or causing wakes, or noise?
Whatever??
Try this. Many boats are equipped with AirHorns for other purposes, but, they are LOUD and they draw attention.
Try using an AirHorn on an idiot who comes too close, or otherwise is causing a problem?
First reaction? They STOP. That gives you the chance to explain that they are idiots and stop it.
About $7.99 at Walmart. It works, for most idiots.

Mack,where were you a couple of years ago when I needed you???? As it stands now, I can't sell my big go-fast boat with the way the economy is so that means I can't buy a smaller slower boat to come and meet you. LOL. When does it end..... Someone please, send me a stimulas check, and do it quick....

Check, because my wife gave me a Stimulus Check last night, and I might not have sufficient funds to write another check for a while.
Go-Fast boats were not an issue with me. Scrushy had 2 that raced up and down Parker Creek every weekend in Summer for about 30 seconds each time, max. Then, nothing. Big Deal. No more disturbing than the 2 seaplanes that take off and land repeatedly in the creek. Let's not talk about RUDE SeaDoos. Or RUDE Pontooners who cruise past your dock at a speed that creates the biggest rock N' Roll on your dock. Thus, the AirHorn!!!
Sorry about your Go-Fast boat being banned. But, Aunt Lucie complained to Uncle Bubba, who knew Somebody in Montgomery, who owed Uncle Ned a debt, who had a chit with Cousin Clem...... Boat Ban.
Just plain COURTESY don't work any more.
