Hello all can anyone confirm FERC varience has been approved? I have not been able to find it "offically" on Alabama Power's web site.

From AP Lake conditions website:

Due to continuing dry conditions, a variance has been approved to fill Martin above normal rule curve elevation. Lake elevations are always subject to change, depending on conditions.

Odd thing is we are below the normal curve as of Saturday.

here's the link for future reference.

If it rains this Spring, the Lake will fill, and with continued rain, it will remain full thru Labor Day. And everybody will be happy.
If it does not rain, the Lake level will fall, and nobody, including APC, can change that.

Sure we can. Just take our water hoses and fill the lake that way. <g> Sure Walnut Hill Water or <insert your water authority> would just love us.

No one said anything about the lake filling or not Mack, I was just giving the original poster the info he asked for. But thanks for the smarta22 comments.

I apologize for getting your panties in a wad. I interpreted your post "below the curve" to be a reference to the lake level.
My bad.

My bad, overreacted. I thinks I've been too long with no boat ride.
