In the Alex City Outlook today they announced that Alan Jackson was the headliner for the concert.
They also stated -- "The lakeside concert, which will take place on Friday, July 25, will be accessible by boat only, according to Commander, to help promote boating."
Guess Jackson was only available on Friday and not Saturday, as the concert has historically always been on Saturday.

Flyfish you are right the 25th is on a Saturday, but the paper clearly said Friday... hopefully it will be on Saturday, especially since Sea Ray wants to break last years record. I don't see that happening if it is on a Friday.

Scavenger Hunt
Concert at Lake Martin Amphitheater - performers to be announced at a later date. Tickets are $15 on sale through Ticketmaster on June 1; children 6 and under are admitted free and coolers are welcome.
Raft-Up Overnight for the Signature Event on Saturday: mooring lines in Kowaliga Bay will be available at 3 pm on Friday for a fee to be paid in cash. No charge for Saturday and Sunday night.

Saturday, July 25: Signature Event Featuring Alan Jackson
Signature Event Raft-Up with games, fun and musical performances from 11:30 am to 6 pm.
Alan Jackson concert at the Signature Event is from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

Anyone know if the Lion's Club is also going to have their annual Poker Run on Saturday, July 25th?
As this really added to the Aquapalooza event and makes for a great day on the water.
