I just wanted to thank everyone that has come to our store and hope that you all come back. If there is anything that we can do to make it better let us know. There are a lot of things to come.
Thanks,
John and Dorrie

Where are you located? Will you have any fresh peas? I just love peas in the pod.

Yesterday was a big day for us. We had to take care of some biz in metro Atlanta first thing Saturday morning and then to the lake. We arrived around lunch time and we both wanted to try the Oyster House. We had some biz to take care of here in Dadeville and I thought it would be a good idea to do that first and give the O.H. lunch crowd a chance to thin out. We went by the new Farmer's Market and met two of the nicest people (the owners) and look forward to doing business with them. Then on to the O.H. for a late lunch/early dinner. The wife had oysters on the half shell and a salad and I had the shrimp basket. The bar looked well stocked but my wife orderd Bloody Mary and they were out of mix so she ordered a gin and tonic, same thing on the tonic. She ended up with a beer. Food was good and the lady that waited on us did a good job. However the guys were tied up in the A-Day (Red) game and never asked if I needed more coke or the wife needed another beer. The people that work there DO NOT need to be watching TV when there are customers in the house. After our meal, we went to Pug's Place and put together a deal on a load of azaleas (58). All in all, we met some really nice people and had a good time doing business with the great merchants in the Dadeville area. Another great day on Lake Martin!!!!
