I have seen many July 4th fireworks shows at the lake. I think that none are better. There is some rumblings out in the public that this year (and possibly others to come) might be significantly scaled back due to a badly ailing economy. Can anyone one confirm this as truth or abolish it as rumor?

The fireworks show planned for this year at Lake Martin will be bigger and better than ever. It will be on of the largest 4th of July fireworks shows in the Southeatern United States.
