Someone has dumped several large piles of Holly tree branch clippings into the Sandy Creek embayment of the lake near the Susanna Crossing development. Whoever did this is not only dumb, but has created several hazard areas for swimmers, wake boarders skiers, and jet skiers and fishermen too. Besides getting cuts and abrasions from the very sharp-pointed leaves, these piles of debris can foul and bend props and jet impellers as well as scratch gel coats. Be mindful of the hazard if you are in this area, and nail the culprit if you find him or her.

The guy that lives in the house across from us always blows his grass clipping into the lake and because we are at the end of the cove, we end up with ALL of his grass clippings. We can't swim for several hours after he has cut his yard because of this. I don't want to swim in his grass.
