The Precipitation Charts for Tallapoosa River Basin don't seem to be active any longer. Is this a permanent situation or just temporary??
Sure would be good info after some of the recent storms that keep blowing thru?? ie, compare LM Dam releases vs. Basin rainfall amounts.

Mack,

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I've not noticed it and you are the first to mention it. It appears the NWS has changed things and no longer offer this weather product. Sometimes they will stop products because the data is included in a new one. I've conducted a quick search but I'm not finding what that replacement would be.

Unfortunately I'm not in control of that stuff so I can't answer your question. If I don't find the replacement soon I'll be removing that watershed image. There is an interesting southeast predictor one I can use to replace it. That Tallapoosa River image did provide a high level of detail and was very interesting in last year's late fill-up.

Now I'm about to go for a boat ride... I'm in the neighborhood.

Thank you for the reply.
It is not a hot topic, but it was fun to watch rain over East Alabama/Big T River Basin and see what water was coming down the shute to LM. Sometimes Scary.
Enjoy the ride, and thank you for your work to keep LM Fans entertained and informed.
Mack
