Oops. That consarned Enter key is not the way to get from the Subject section to the Message section of a post......

Can someone summarize the Aquapalooza event for those of us watching Grandkids so our kids could go? All I received in the way of a report from them is "we are back, safe, and had a good spot".

There were lots and lots of boats, drunken sailors, not so drunken sailors, and fun. It looked like it went as planned. Everything I expected to happen, happened. Depending on where you were, it was difficult to see the stage, but there where huge jumbotron screens to view. The sound systems were magnificent. I think the organizers and enforcers did a great job of handling the venue, crowd, and that minimized chaos. My one huge gripe was the inconsiderate anices playing crap music on their over amped stereo systems during the earlier concerts. We picked up anchor and moved twice because if it. I am so glad we anchored instead of moored as we drove thru the masses on the way out and found that we had better seats than those moored in rows three and four. Overall, you missed the biggest and greatest event ever to be on Lake Martin. Can't wait to see the even on CMT Labor Day Friday... Oh, I saw a HUGE boat from Cincinati, Ohio. Kudos to the Webmaster for his job in providing great information and pics leading up the the event.

That was one down side to concert. There were a few boats we and others had to ask to turn off their stereo systems during the concerts, as they were louder than the show, and playing rather crappy music at that!
Always will be a few like that.

Unbelievable! They go to a show by an artist for others to enjoy his/ music and these dufus' somehow think, "Everyone really would rather hear our stereo".

That is real tacky.
