I'm originally from Missouri, and am living in Southern Illinois. I would really love to move back to what I call home. I'm familiar with the area, I have a cousin that lives in Madison County so that would be close enough to visit. I am alone so I don't need much room. I would be hapy with a couple of large rooms as long as there is power, water and sewer. I would love to live on the lake, but close is good enough. I'm on disability so my income is limited and would love to keep costs down. If anyone knows of a small house or cabin for rent in this area, I would greatly appreciate any information. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a roof over my head and a place to meet new people and associate with local people. Thanks in advance.

Beenie,
You've wandered into a forum that is shared across all lake sites. I'm replicating your post to the Lake Wappapello, Missouri forum where you may have more luck finding a specific answer. I will also see what I can find for you also.
