Does anyone have information about the effects of the storm around Real Island, Big D's country store, Little Kowaliga area? I have tried to reach a neighbor but assume the power is out.

Big D's looked fine and had power.  Started to stop there for a cup of coffee as I had no pwr at home.  All looked ok on Coosa 2 but I do not know about anything down Real Island road.

I left out on Coosa 2 last night passing by Big D's etc. after the storms came through.  I turned right on 9 toward 280.  No visible damages on my route, but i understand south on 9 in Santuck is a totally different story.  Power is out.

it appears the path of the closest twister to Real Island went approx from Central to the amphitheater. My house is just north of that path (South side of the lake and south east of Real Island) and there is no damage there.

I have heard of destruction in the little Kowaliga creek area. Have not seen it myself.

If anyone knows the Kent family in that area, I have heard that their house was badly damaged. They are somewhere near the girl scout camp.
