I asked because I too would love to find someone to come in and clean after we use our house on an "as needed" basis.

I'm in that same general vicinity.

If anyone knows of anyone with GOOD references that is truly a good cleaner, honest, and reliable please respond. Thanks!

We have a home near Dare Power Park and we use Lake Martin Cabin Comfort. Have used them for over a year to clean and mow our yard. They're great! Call Michelle at 256.749.6143

Do you find their cleaning reasonably priced? Do you just call them when it needs cleaning (like when you're leaving) and have them come so you find it clean when you return? Do they send the same folks each time or do you "get who you get?" Thanks for the info.. I've seen their ads and wondered about them.

My fear of hiring someone to clean at the lake (since I'm pretty much a weekender) is being able to trust them in my home when I'm very obviously not there.

Cathy Easterwood does my house for a VERY reasonable price. She has a key and is honest and dependable. Her number is 750-0606. I LOVE coming home after she has been here.

This week is hectic for her because she is getting married Saturday, but will be back on the job Wednesday. Good luck whoever you go with!

I have only been using her a few months and have been WELL pleased. In fact, she spoiled me so bad that after her first two visits we renegotiated for her to come every week instead of every other week.

And yes, she has references.
