Just an observation... seems like there are a lot of big houses hanging around. I'd like to hear the statistics on the summer. From my perspective it looks like it's hard to get that place built out. The tour of homes had half of the houses in phase I. Many are still unsold. Some are weak, some are really nice.

Read about the Florida disaster in this week's Barrons. Wonder how it's affecting LM. I suspect the 1031 folks are out of the game as well as the spectulators. I'll be glad when its back to normal.

We went to the open houses this summer in the Ridge and I looked at the brochure again about a week ago, and many of the same homes are still on the market. I think your observation is accurate--most of the recent building in the Ridge is spec and I would imagine those guys are getting nervous--course they've got 100% profit built-in so they can do some serious discounting. Have you noticed the condos for sale in MLS?

I was just thinking if I was going to spend a million on a lake house I would buy an (old Power Co lot cabin) which are now deeded tear or remove the old cabin. Most of those lots are tremendous and flat . Referring to the propery down below Real Island .
