I do not have time to go back and find the posts that I made back in March warning of the dire things I felt were on the way. Nor do I have time to argue with LTL that everyone knew it was coming too (perhaps thats true but I started the dialogue and its been going on more and more since).

LTL, most brilliant of all posters, remember throwing the stupid article from the LM magazine a month ago in my face that said market conditions were strong on LM? Remeber that you freaking idiot? Well what do you think now Mr. Genius guy? Absolute auctions are the norm now and this market is going backwards. I see it everyday when I look at prices being charged going DOWN...just like I said they would and you argued they would not.

I will admit to hyperbole (check your wikipedia site for definition) on my call that a decade of relatively depressed prices was on tap but this pain will be hard and will not be short lived. Efforts being made by the concerned citizens on this lake like the HOBO will definitely help but this drought and the Dadeville sewer system may prove to be our Hurricane Katrina.

I can assure you we will all recover eventually and the lake is worth sticking around but this is only the beginning of the melt down and not the end...see ya at the auction...

Bob

Bob, LTL or whoever he is today hasn't even had any water yet this year. He is so far back in the slough the sales agent is still laughing as he counts his money from the sale. And the sellers are saying " OMG did you see him?". His hyperbole began years ago. That's the reason he has optical rectidus.

Condo's are in a glut and are in a recession at this time. NOBODY argued that Bob. I can guarantee that deeded property ( and yes Lakeman mine is deeded to me, unlike yours NOT being deeded to you) is not going down. And not one dime in commissions was paid on my place FYI. I didn't even pay an origination fee, or any other excluding appraisal on my place. That what comes from having family in the business. I also sold my place on big water before I bought here, and I can promise you that we have the best neighborhood on the lake. And next month when one of my best freinds moves in accross from me it will only get better.

'Absolute auctionas are the norm", first one that I have heard about. Correct me if I am wrong. You sound like doom and gloom and then sound bullish longterm. What gives?
