Wow you guys do not like sharing secerets. Someone tell me how to catch a bass at night. I have not fished at night the past few years. My son and I went about a week ago and caught 2 fish.

Good luck catching bass on Logan. It is way overfish on the bass side. Spin baits and buzz baits seem to work though around piers and retaining walls. Good luck/

Thanks for the info. I had about decided that with the amount of pressure from all the bass tournaments it was going to be tough to catch anything. There is way to much pressure on this lake. You have bass clubs over from Georgia adding to the locals which I think are out numbering the fish. I think tournaments should be regulated to a certain number of tournaments on a lake per year. Give pleasure fisherman a chance. Catfisherman I heard of a new bait put out by Berkley. They say catfish are tearing it up when it hits the water. I will try it out.

Crawfish colored crank baits on points work pretty well. White or yellow spinner baits around boat docks early am.

New to the lake, but I've had some success bumping chartruse curly tail jigs along the bottom near docks and points.

Will be on the lake for the holiday and hope to catch a few more.

Using 4" jigs.

Went out Labor Day for about an hour and only caught one bass...maybe 18". Missed a couple of hits.

I was with friends from South Georgia who told me that "Since the cows are lying down, the fish aren't biting." That was a new one on me, but armed with my one sample, it was true as far as I can tell.

Hope to be back next week.

Hey it's Catfisherman, I changed my email and couldn't remember my log on. So how has everyone done this summer with the fish. I know the catfishing has suffered.

I am going this weekend, of course to do some catfishing. I will let everyone know on Tuesday how the trip goes.
