I've got the fever, & the boat is ready. I haven't been on the forum in a while, but I'm back. Slaberoo, no crappie guides that I know of, but if you fish in marinas around the house boats, you'll catch some... you just have try different depths. Not too many people post on the fishing forum. I guess they don't want to share their secrets. See you guys on the water soon.

For the life of me, I can't remember the names, but the one across from Pier 59, and if you head into Rabbit Branch fish behind the 2 house boats on the right just as you make the first curve. Also around the old pier at River's Edge marina - I've pulled some good ones from there.

It's the old Rabbit Branch marina - they're biting too! Got 6 good crappie, and 2 3+ lb. bass early Sunday am. at the old pier there. Caight all of them on jigs, but they said minnows were doing good too. They're full of eggs, so they'll be bedding soon. Good luck, be safe, and have fun.

Okay, Okay... so how did you do? I'm sure you've wet a hook by now! I'm going to my place this coming weekend to fish. I don't think I'll take my fishing boat - I'll just fish from the piers. I hear they're still biting good.

I went fishing last Friday evening. The water was muddy, but I did manage to catch 5 crappie. The problem was that only 1 was big enough to keep... I'll keep trying.

Used minnows last time. I'll try jigs next time. Good to know good ones are biting too. Thanks.

did any one color or style seem to do any better than the other, or were they pretty much biting whatever jig was used?
