Got out on the boat for the first time since Labor Day 07. Nice, calm, and getting full! Summer and Full Pool is getting near!

We had a good time WHall. You all are going to really enjoy the lake this summer. I will be posting some pictures from today soon on my website. Bookmark it for future pictures. It is very basic but a good way to host pictures for all my family and friends. I left the dirty ones off ;)))

I went over to the lake on Saturday and you are correct. It was a beautiful day. It was amazing to see how much the lake had risen in just 2 weeks. I poured a 30' boat ramp extension on Friday Feb. 9th and the water was still about 25' past where I poured. I went back this past Saturday and the entire 30' slab is completely under water! Made me all excited to see it coming back up like this.

I hope the prayers for rain still continue because they are obviously working.

I also have a new investment that has completely disappeared.....and I love it!

I'm not sure that this was a good investment or not. I just spent all that money and work and can't even see it any more. I sleep better at night knowing that it's down there if / when I need it though.

How much did you pour?

About the same as you. The water now touches the ramp at just over 477 and I'll be happy if it never sees air again!

Thanks for the pictures. The rise in the water level is amazing. We plan to go to the lake this weekend. With any luck, we will be able to get our boat off the lift for the first time since last July.

If you got the boat off the lift in July, it should be no problem now ; this is the best we've seen since the 3rd week of June. YeeeHaaa!
