The level has still been increasing even with turbine runs. Although at a slower pace. Given that I am sure they are being care in case of unexpected rains since we are still in the spring rain season. Might as well generate some power rather than openning the flood gates to bring down the level should there be a few days of rain.

Anything over 489 has always been full in my book since it rarely reaches 490 anyway.

ANY YEAR!!!! Being 9 tenths off full pool is hardly anything to complain about.....completely OK in my book. The water is absolutely beautiful. Almost forgot what it was like to get in my boat without getting red mud all over the carpet. Very nice to step off a pier into the boat.

anything between 489 and 490 is "full " . APCO needs to generate some sparks and keep the tallapoosa flowing south as well. Let's not be greedy.

If I an not mistaken. The lake stays historically at about 490' for about 2 weeks or so annually and then drops to between 488 to 489 range for the remainder of the Summer.

So full pool is just an indicator more so than a permanent number. As APCo needs this diff to allow for substantial rainfalls. (490 vs. say 488.5)

I am very happy with what is there. We spent time down there over spring break and it was nice to see water and floating boats in our area instead of waist high grass and stranded boats.

we're roughly 1 foot ahead of the planned rule. That's great news. The lake is supposed to stay in the 489 to 499 range through the end of August. Of course, that's assuming there's enough rain to sustain it. I do look forward to getting a few more inches just as a cushion, but I think it will happen. The more we gain now, the better as far as any possible dry summer. The big problem last year was we never got past 486 in spring then we hit the very dry summer.

if it goes to 499, there will be trouble
