this is by far the worst development on the lake...the homes look like they belong in a cheap sub of a big city...they are not lake homes...they don't have lake "fronts"...I hear they have no water, no electricity, no sewer, no sea wall permit, good GOD...this is horrible.
have they sold one? What is poor India doing with her four homes in the back of this slough...bless her heart!

The Atrocity that you speak of has not sold a single home and they will NOT sell one this year. They have no sea wall and no docks whatsoever. They may not get the dock permits and the idiots did not plan for that. Rumor has it that they went under, were sidelined for about a week and somehow found a bank to get additional financing.

A quick review of the lake inventory will easily tell you that at 1.1mm they have zero...nada..zip...zilch chances of success. The homes might move at around 600k if they get: seawall, docks, sewer, etc....

They actually own more of that land around the cove and plan to strip mine it too if they ever get it going...which they won't...

Another of his 'great predictions'. I seem to recall someone posting here that had ALREADY PURCHASED TWO!! So you are once again WRONG.

LTL's great memory:

Bob predicted a drought in LATE March, after it was already making headlines and the lake levels were a couple of feet below 'normal'

It would take YEARS for the lake to recover and be full again.

The lake may NEVER be full again.

Property values were going to plument to the levels they were in 2000, maybe even more. (This one REALLY scared me, I thought he!!, I may be upside down in my lake house.......<sarcasm off>)

With a track record like this one, I am sure the Karis Park folks are shaking in thier boots.

As much as I hate to say it, this is why we need some zoning laws around this lake.
