I am thinking of purchasing a Fisher pontoon. Can any one share their thoughts about Fisher boats? Also, is there that big of difference between the double v. triple pontoon? We are looking at a 22 foot, 90 HP boat. Thanks.

Some of the nicer pontoon boats can be seen at www.eliminatorboat.com they are fiberglass pontoon boats, very effecient and fast (spell check) and women love them.

Understand your humor. Interesting side note--in our search of dealers for a pontoon boat, I started noticing the competition among manufacturers to see how many cup holders they could cram in a boat. In the 24-25 ft pontoon boats we found a minimum of 13 and a max of 18 cupholders. It'll be BTOB on my boat. LOL

Bulldog, I just sold my Fisher Pontoon Boat after great service for 5 years. I think you will find them to have all the features at a much cheaper cost. I also think you are right about the 90 HP motor. I started with a 40 and a year later upgraded to a 75. I had a 20 ft freedom DLX. I also think that if you get away from the lake you will find a better deal. I live just out of Montgomery and I know there is a Fisher dealer in Millbrook . They are hooked up with Guntersville boat mart and have only been open for a couple of years at the Millbrook location.

My new boat is a Manitou 22' with a 115 Honda. I purchased it at Mitchells Marine and am completely satisfied with the boat and the service. It may pay to give them a look. Hope this helps
