Can anyone tell me about the Kowliga boat ramp. We have never had to use a public ramp before but our private ramp source has "DRYED" up. We are in the little Kowliga area

We used the Kowaliga Ramp Sunday, there is a big rock on the end of the ramp (left side looking down at the ramp) the rock or rocks are just about 12" below the water line. Right side has a sand bar about 10' from the end of the ramp, from guys driving their boats on to their trailers. Had to float my boat onto the trailer this time. Like Lakeman said in a post below...wish Al power would fill in the holes at the end of the ramp....would give us a few more weeks for sure.

Just an FYI the only ramp on the lake owned and maintained by APCo is Union the rest are leased to and maintained by either county, city and state agencies.
For example the Kowaliga ramp is maintained by the State not APCo as when you told me about the inappropriate graffiti at the ramp I contact APCo and they then forwarded the email to the State to have such removed / painted over.

Would the State have to get a permit from APCo to fill in or add to the ramp?
Does not look like a big job to fix the problem.

Don't go taking credit for the water gong away. You know it is my fault, just like everything else. I did it. It is all my fault. I am the only one that caused the drought. It is me that won't stop APCO from sending water south. It is me that uses what little rain we do get to make electricity. It is my fault that the big boat ban got passed. (ouch I know that one hurt) It is my fault Apco joined the fight against you. It is my fault that lakeman can't take a verbal whipping. It is my fault lakeman continues to stir the pudding. It's pretty typical. It's a good thing I don't have self-esteem issues, cuz I get told almost daily, on here, what a piece of cr@p I am. No matter how nice I am or for how long, eventually lakeman will come along and make a derogatory comment about me and the whole cycle starts over again. Then everybody likes to 'pile on' so I go totally defensive with my scorched earth policy. Been that way for so long now, I don't remember any other way. So I just embrace it, and enjoy it, while it tends to make so many others so uncomfortable. For those that don't participate, oh well, maybe you should. Maybe if some folks pointed out lakemans cr@p from time to time the cr@p would cease. But we will never no, cuz it ain't gonna happen. So be it. In the meantime you get me. Hope you have fun reading thru the cr@p, because no matter they say here, I know they read every post.....lol.
