Robin Hill Band and Kansas. I assume that Kansas will play last. Anyone know if that is factual? Would be a nice concert from the water...

Can you hear it from the water? I thought the Amphiteater is further inland.

From the Satelite view it appears to be 800 foot from the water. Not sure which direction they play (towards the water or away).

Has anyone ever been on the water during a concert? I know during the Independence Day concert you can hear music, but not sure how well because you can't get near the shore because of the Fireworks show...

The amphitheatre is a horseshoe shaped stage with the opening being towards inland. You can not hear the band from the water. Maybe a thump or two but not able to make out lyrics or music. It would be nice if they would put the stage at the top of the hill facing the water and clear the vegatation out and make it a concert on land and water. But to answer the question no you can not hear the music from the water. It is very far away too.

The Ampitheater gates open at 4:30 and the concert begins at 7:30 with the Robin Hill Band opening for Kansas. IT WILL NOT BE BROADCAST ON THE RADIO. Tickets are $25. You can't hear it from the water directly behind the ampitheater but you can hear it on the water from the area at the end of the Sail Boat Club - not real loud or clear but you can hear the music.
