The republicans tried to implement new regulation on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, saying in part that we could have a crisis that impacts housing and the economy in general should they fail. Obama was one of many democrats that voted down and resisted the reform.
Now Obama goes out preaching .... yes preaching ... that we need more regulation and had we had it sooner this would not have happened.
Wait until those ads run about his double talk to fool the public. He plays on people ignorance.

I guess what worries me is that people cannot see through all the lies and corruption. If you just follow his money trail alone, you will see that he benefits and then he says it needs "change".
I loved the interview with Sean Hannity and Palin. She understood what was done with AIG and the Fannies, but also understood that the tax payers should not be held to pay for these crooks and government mismanagement of the program regulations. Thanks Clinton. Will this go done in history as one of his famous contributions?

Sarah Palin did great. She is one smart cookie and will continue to shine. She does not even need a teleprompter like Obama does. She can speak from her heart, rather than "prepared" words like Obama does, that someone told him to say this as it will poll well.
I can't wait for the debates, McCain is going to kick Obama's butt. Then we will hear after how the questions asked were not fair.
The best debates are the town hall meetings because you really find out what a candidate stands for when the public can ask the questions. But Obama will not do that ... he is afraid since he only stands for what the money behind him tells him to stand for. Oh yeah .. he is the man of change. ha ha ha
