Hi everyone, I have received several calls today from people interested in our Poker Run this weekend from the earlier thread and wanted to be a little more specific about the event. There are 7 stops that participants will travel to during the day. There are 52 tickets available and you will be able to register at the first stop by check/cash/credit. The entry fee is $450. All winnings will be awarded at Harbor Docks @ Anchor Bay. First place is $5000 and $10,000 is guaranteed to the Girl's Ranch. There will be other non-cash prizes (gift certificates, etc.) awarded to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th place and worst hand. The following is a list of the stops:

Pleasure Point: 9a-11:30a
Acapulco Rock: 10:30-12:30
The Ridge: 11a-1p
Sugar Creek: 11:15-2:30
Chimney Rock 12:30-3:30
Parker Creek: 1:30-4p
Harbor Docks: 3:30-5:30

We are looking forward to a fun day on Lake Martin and appreciate the support for the Girl's Ranch.

We plan to send several participants. This should be a good fundraiser for charity. If any of you have never attended a poker run, it is fun. I know it is expensive, but entertainment and hospitality is usually wonderful. Remember, it is for a good cause! You'll meet many good people. Count on Cathouse and friends to be there. We so much look foreward to Saturday. If we win, I'll buy MAV a cold bev of choice.

Stop by and pick up another passenger for Steve Jr., sure she would go for a ride. Just make sure to call ahead so she has time to pretty up - LOL.

Agree the poker run is for a great cause, nothing like supporting the Girls Ranch and at $450 entry fee that is a nice donation.
