I just read that BOA froze the account of a gun manufacturer that did sales of parts and other items over the internet because they did not think it was appropriate. I find it abhorrent that a bank can do things like that to a legal enterprise. I just cancelled my credit card that was associated with BOA and hope thousands of others do also.

I respect your decision. I saw GF response ... it does not matter when it happened if you feel strongly about it. When you knew you took action and did not just complain as many people do. Way to go.

Have a BoA Visa card....only balance is no interest ....helping my daughter pay for an AC replacement...free money at their expense is OK by me; will ditch the card when it is paid.

My primary bank is the Pentagon Federal Credit Union. Classy folks and have had nothing but pleasant dealings with them. How can you argue with a 3% mortgage?

Only way to argue against a 3% mortgage is no mortgage -- really very cool.. Amen on the PFCU.. Have dealt with them since the '70's; currently hold a cash back Visa card (paid off monthly) and savings/checking account..

All three of Auburn's spirit cards (Visa, MC, & AX) are through BOA. It will be interesting to see if they get much negative feedback
